The Orvieto Rooster design is an ancient and traditional pattern that originated in the Renaissance-era hilltop town of Orvieto, Italy.
At the heart of the Orvieto pattern is a crowing rooster motif, which symbolizes blessings, prosperity, and good health.
This symbol has stood the test of time and continues to be a popular choice for those seeking to add a touch of traditional Italian charm to their home decor.
Our Orvieto Rooster products are available in three stunning colors: Burgundy Red, Deep Blue, and Aqua Green.
Each piece is carefully crafted to the highest standards of quality and beauty, using the same techniques that have been passed down through generations of Italian artisans.
Choose your favorite color and start enjoying the blessings, prosperity, and good health that the Orvieto Rooster represents today!

Because each piece is individually crafted, you may notice slight variations in color and size.
These variances should not be considered as imperfections, but as evidence of fine, hand-crafted work.
Care Instructions
Care Instructions
Microwave and Conventional Oven Use
Deruta of Italy's dinnerware products are manufactured to be used as "Serving" pieces and not cookware, and therefore not suitable for conventional oven use.
They can be used in Microwave oven for moderate reheating only as they may become very hot.
As the temperature of certain items may vary after microwave use, we recommend to carefully handle any piece.
Microwaving will not brake an item but it may "craze" the glaze, causing tiny cracks although with no significant effect on the ceramic piece.
Dishwasher Safe
All Deruta of Italy's dinnerware, mugs and any tabletop products are electric dishwasher safe, but it is recommended to place the dishes or ceramics far apart to avoid touching each other during the high pressure dish-washing.
